Born from the vision of Marco, Sara, Benjamin, and Franziska, it provides affordable accommodation and a range of services that enhance the Chur experience.

After working in hostels in Switzerland and abroad for more than 10 years, the founder of Bogentrakt, Marco, decided he had enough knowledge packed into his backpack to open his own hostel. He joined forces with his girlfriend Sara and her brother Benjamin and his wife Franziska. Together they wanted to give something back to the place they grew up in and when the chance arrived to gather ideas on what to do with the old city prison in Chur, the took it and handed in their ideas to turn it into a cosmopolitan hostel and bring freedom back to this closed off space in the middle of the Old Town of the oldest town in Switzerland.
