We practice mindful sustainability in all aspects of the guest units, using renewable energy sources where possible. Our focus is also keeping chemicals out of the wilderness surrounding the guest units by providing chemical-free, home-made, organic dishwashing liquid and bath soap. The Storytellers is also a member of the Rocklands Recycling Initiative and as such strives to keep as much organic and non-organic waste as possible from ending up in the landfill.

As individuals and as a business, we are committed to supporting local social benefit projects and are active members of the Rocklands Association for Development; only hire from our local community; and ensure that all wages paid are based on a “value of service” basis as opposed to minimum wage.

We don’t offer any organised on-site events per se, but (if time allows) we are available to guide plant / tracking walks and short bouldering excursions.
