At The Yard, we believe we're only temporary residents on this planet, and our grandchildren will inherit it. That's why we take our responsibility as a hospitality business seriously, try to reduce our impact as much as possible.
Sustainable Buildings
- We recycled shipping containers to create our space, which are well-insulated with recycled paper to reduce energy consumption.
Reducing carbon Footprint
- We do not sell plastic bottles and have a refillable water station.
- We use air conditioning inverter technology to reduce electricity consumption by 40%
- Our toilets have a water-saving system to reduce consumption by 35%
Waste Management
- We compost all our kitchen waste
