Praana Experience

All meals at Praana are locally sourced and cooked with traditional techniques. The homestay features an open veranda, dining space, separate kitchen, and a beautiful garden with hammocks for bonfires or stargazing. It offers two spacious rooms (one sea-facing and one garden-facing) and two unique cottages (a garden cottage and an artist’s cottage with an open shower).

Owners Priyanka and Tanveer travelled extensively with their dogs, Cruise & Todo, and without many pet-friendly accommodations across India, decided to set up their own. Praana Experience is set along Coastal Karnataka with private beach access from their land. Priyanka and Tanveer encourage guests to connect with nature, meet their animals Frodo, Cruise, Noorie & Tara, and to bring their pets along to enjoy their holidays together.

Praana is a cozy homestay in Dombe village near Karnataka’s Byndoor, offering scenic nature trails and airy, minimalist cottages. Built from scratch with sea views, it’s a pet-friendly spot where the hosts’ dog and cat are always around to greet you. Enjoy village walks, bird-watching from the observatory, and delicious home-cooked Udupi meals by the in-house chef.
