Environmental Building Design
- Star Hostel Taichung Parkland has a strong focus on an eco-friendly green design and intimate shared spaces for guests to find reprieve in the city.
- The architecture with the vertical urban garden embraces the environment and brings nature into the building. This ensures top air ventilation, a focus on green energy and carbon reduction.
- The first large-scale vegetation wall in Taiwan, the building embraces the changing seasons and allows guests to feel restored with nature with plants, flowers, birds, and butterflies.
Reducing Carbon Footprint
- There is a strong sustainability focus on reducing waste, recycling, reuse of rainwater, and composting.
Plastic Free
- While we are not 100% plastic free yet. We are constantly working towards processes that are oriented towards generating zero waste.
- We do waste analysis for example plastic bag analysis and reduce the amount every year.
