  • Cleaned up search filters so it’s easier to find places by your alternative styles.
  • Added preferred method of contact.
  • Automated emails and notifications make more sense now.
  • Started working through more accessibility features now, including alt text management, color contrast, and skip links.
  • Our new host onboarding checklist is live! 🚀
  • Cleaned up photos on place listings.
  • Improved the request to book page.

  • Fixed some glitches (we would say squashed some bugs, but that feels not nice).
  • Improved our search results page with “place cards” to preview place listings.

  • Place listings are now mobile and tablet responsive.
  • Hosts: You can now add your own direct booking engine link to redirect guests from your place listing.

  • Discover the sustainability stories of StayAltered Hosts with improved place listings.
  • Two options for bookings:
    • Redirect: While we are in the certification process for Instabook, we’ll redirect you to the host’s direct booking engine.
    • Request: For hosts who are request-only, send the number of guests and check-in/out dates.
  • Hosts: You can now easily create and edit your place listings with integrated forms!
